Marzieh Mahboob is an Iranian puppet maker and puppeteer. Besides puppet making, she is also a puppeteer and is referred to as the mother of Iranian puppets.
Marzieh Mahboob has spent her time with puppets from childhood to the present. Perhaps for this reason, she talks about puppets as if she is talking about living people.
She graduated in Puppet Shows from the University of Art in 1984 and started her activity on television with puppeteering the series "Grandma's House." The result of Mahboob's collaboration with Tahmasb and Jebeli is a large number of puppets, with "Kolah Ghermezi" and "Pesar Khale" being the most famous. All the friends and relatives of "Kolah Ghermezi" are also creations of Marzieh Mahboob.
